YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Andrew Sadler is a born-and-raised, 3rd generation Tofitian who has been in the ocean his whole life, and an avid surfer for the past 14 years. His love and passion for surfing runs deeply in his family as his grandfather Jim Sadler taught himself to surf as one of the pioneering surfers of Tofino. Jim passed on his passion for surfing onto his son Harold, who in turn passed his enthusiasm for surfing onto his son Andrew. He is a fully certified International Surfing Association (ISA) surf instructor and coach, and has been teaching surf lessons since 2014.
He has always loved to travel abroad to surf new breaks, serve in missions, and explore this amazing planet, but Tofino will always have a special place in his heart.
One of his favorite things about surfing is seeing people experiencing the same joy that he finds every time he paddles out and helping them find it.

Beginner Surf lessons

2.5 hours for plenty of time to address your needs during the beach and ocean sessions. We will discuss safety and practice technique in a brief beach session before building our skills with plenty of ocean time.

*If there are two or more children 12 and under in a lesson, one other adult must be in the water to help manage the children (doesn't have to be in lesson, but able to help control the kid's boards and such)

Hourly Surf Coaching

Ideal for intermediate to advanced surfers who already know ocean safety, can paddle out the back, and can catch waves on their own at a minimum.

Instructor will paddle out with you, helping you pick the right waves and giving feedback on technique.

1 hour minimum. Additional hours can be added during session for more instruction!

Filming Session: Approximately 1.5 hours are spent on the beach with your coach, who will be filming your surfing and giving you feedback with drills to practice.

Video Review Session: You will meet with your coach online via Google Meet to review the footage and discuss what is working, and what isn't working in your technique.​
